FAMILY BUSINESS CENTERS
It’s family. And working with family has its own unique challenges. Untangling what’s business and what’s family for the good of both is one of the greatest challenges of family enterprise. But, if they can work together to their full potential the opportunities for family, business, and community are endless.
Established in 1989, the Goering Center serves more than 400 member companies, making it North America’s largest university-based educational non-profit center for family and private businesses.
The Center respects the privacy of our members, and provides a safe-haven environment. Members and presenters agree not to solicit other members. Names, addresses, and contact information are strictly confidential and are to be used only for member-to-member communications.
The Institute for Family-Owned Business (IFOB) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization committed to supporting, strengthening and empowering family-owned businesses throughout the state of Maine.
To help family businesses thrive through generations. The Prairie Family Business Association, founded in 1992, is an outreach center of the University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business.
We are proud to be a member-driven Center. We believe more members mean more networking, more unique perspectives, more opportunities to learn from each other and more relationship-building.
The FBC will be the premier learning community and the essential resource for all multi-generational Wisconsin family-owned businesses, with a robust and enduring statewide membership maintained through local chapters.
