A new Women\u2019s Business Owners Group<\/a> found bipartisan support as Southern California Congressional House Members Rep. J. Luis Correa (D-CA) and Rep. Young Kim (R-CA) sent staff members to attend the second meeting of the group here.<\/p>\n The Family Enterprise USA\u2019s (FEUSA) Women\u2019s Business Owners Group<\/a> (The Group) is a newly formed coalition dedicated to highlighting and addressing the unique challenges faced by women-owned businesses in today\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n Women-owned businesses<\/a> represent nearly 40 percent of all U.S. businesses \u2013 over 14 million businesses in total \u2013 and account for $2.7 trillion in revenue. Women-owned businesses employ over 12.2 million employees nationwide. The Group\u2019s mission is to amplify the voices of women entrepreneurs, foster collaboration, and advocate for policies that promote equity in business. The Women\u2019s Business Owners Group<\/a> was created to further educate and inform the bipartisan Congressional Family Business Caucus in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n The meeting began with Sherri Bovino, Chief Executive Officer, Global – A 1st Flagship Co., welcoming 20 women business owners<\/a> and Congressional staff members to her offices here. Each attendee gave brief comments on key legislative issues of concern to their business.<\/p>\n In addition to the discussion was a presentation of a \u201cCertificate of Special Recognition\u201d presented to The Group by Rep.
