One characteristic of stable family businesses is consistent leadership. 27% of FEUSA survey respondents have been leading their companies for 11\u201320 years, 20% have been leading their companies for 21\u201330 years. 18% have been at the helm for over 30 years.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201c58% of respondents carry the title CEO or President.
